For Your Leaders
Cognitive Bandwidth Increase
Recharging isn't the reward for the work. It's part of the work as the cognitive bandwidth depends on it.

Most high performers are excellent at output and poor at recharging. They treat rest as a reward they'll get to once the work is done, which we know it never is. So they stay always on, and their cognitive bandwidth shrinks.
This session treats recharge as what it is: a performance requirement. Leaders learn the difference between switching off and genuinely recharging, find which of their fuel tanks is running empty, and build small, specific recovery habits that refill the bandwidth their best work depends on.

Goals
What we will do
Reset recharging from nice to have to a non-negotiable part of sustainable performance.
Teach what real psychological detachment is, and why checking Slack on a walk isn't it.
Help each leader find the one fuel tank that, refilled, gives them the most energy back.
Leave them with recharging habits efficient enough to actually last.

Is this for you?
Who should attend
You're in upper-middle to senior management, a director, or a senior expert.
You can't remember the last time you fully switched off.
You're always on, and you've noticed your focus and patience aren't what they were.
You want to protect your performance over the long run, not just survive this quarter.
Curriculum
What you'll learn
What real recovery and psychological detachment are, not the surface kind where you're on the sofa but still in the inbox.
How to run your energy through the Vitality Wheel to find the one keystone area that gives you the most back, and the under-15-minute habit to refill it.
The different types of rest and why you can be sleeping plenty and still depleted.
How to close the work loop at the end of the day, so your brain stops running unfinished tasks in the background and lets you rest and recharge.
Statistics
Why you want to learn it
The cost of never recovering is paid in capacity:
84% of people say they've burned out in their current job and nearly half won't take time off, for fear of looking less committed (Deloitte).
Constant connectivity holds the brain in an alert state, which is exactly the wrong state for the strategy and problem-solving leadership needs.
An unfinished task doesn't leave your mind when you leave the office. It keeps draining your battery in the background until you make a plan for it.
Recharging isn't the opposite of performance. If you skip it performance simply isn't sustainable. That's how human biology works.
